Prepare your documents </strong> <br /> The application documents you need to prepare are: <br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; 1. <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Online Application</span></strong> or a completed and signed <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Application Form</span></strong> <br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; 2. A <strong>nonrefundable</strong> application fee of <strong>$60</strong> (in U.S. dollars) in any of the following forms: (a) money order, (b) credit card, or (c) U.S. check. Please make checks or money orders payable to:Si Tanka Huron University and please do not send cash.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;3. For degree pursuer: <strong>Official</strong> <strong>transcripts</strong> (in English) from all previous colleges attended and <strong>a</strong> <strong>photocopy of degree certification document </strong>if any degrees earned. Freshman applicants submit official high school transcripts and a photocopy of the diploma. <br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Please be noted that we only accept the official transcripts in English.<span style="text-decoration: underline"> If the degree certification document or the diploma was not issued in English, a certified translation in English is required. <br /> </span>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Foreign transcripts may require evaluation by a qualified credential evaluation agency. (<strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Click here</span></strong> to view the list of the credential services accepted by Si Tanka Huron University's.) <br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; 4. <strong>English requirement </strong>for degree program applicants: Applicants whose native language is not English are required to either (a) provide proof of English proficiency or (b) take Si Tanka Huron University s English placement exam after reporting to Si Tanka Huron University's. <br /> <strong>Any of the following 6 options can satisfy proof of English proficiency: <br /> </strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Graduation from an institution where English was an official language,<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Having completed a college-level English course at an institution where English was an official language, <br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Meeting Si Tanka Huron University's minimum <strong>TOEFL</strong> requirement: a score of <strong>525</strong> on the paper-based test, <strong>195</strong> on the <br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; computer-based test (CBT), and <strong>70</strong> on the internet-base exam (IBT)<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Earning an above average SAT-1 verbal score,<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Having completed advanced <strong>English language courses (ESL) </strong>at Si Tanka Huron University's or at English institutions recognized by Si Tanka Huron University's, <br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Passing <strong>STHU's 's English Placement Examination (EPE) </strong>conducted prior to the students' first semester at Si Tanka Huron University.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;If you have taken <strong>IELTS</strong> (International English Language Testing System) or other similar exams, please contact the Si Tanka Huron University Admissions Office for proof of English proficiency.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;In additional to the above documents,<strong> international students</strong> should also submit the following:&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;5. A recent <strong>financial support document</strong> (issued within 6 months before application) indicating that a minimum amount of <strong>$24,000 </strong>(for degree program applicants) or <strong>$18,000 </strong>(for ESL program applicants) is available to you for pursuing your study at Si Tanka Huron University in the first year. You may choose ONE from the following: <br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; a. A <strong>bank statement</strong> or verification letter of your bank deposit, or <br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; b. Notarized<strong><span style="text-decoration: underline"> I-134 form </span></strong>(Affidavit of Support form designed by the U.S. Immigration Office) to be completed by your financial guarantor, or <br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; c. A bank statement or verification letter of your financial guarantor's bank and a <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Guarantor/Sponsor Letter</span></strong> signed by your guarantor. <br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; 6. For <strong>Transfer Students</strong>: If you are an international student currently holding F1 status with another U.S. school and want to transfer to Si Tanka Huron University, please also submit the following: <br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; a.<strong><span style="text-decoration: underline"> Transfer Clearance Letter </span></strong>completed by an international student advisor at your last school. This must be done either before you leave the last school or soon after you leave the school in order to maintain your F1 status.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;b.
